  • If the outcome seems unreasonable, they may recommend pursuing a Merit Review Application (a formal appeal process).

 

This approach is honest and aligns with ethical standards in immigration services. It’s always better to work with professionals who are transparent about what they can and can’t control.

 

During the decision-making phase, immigration authorities may uncover undisclosed or problematic issues that affect your application.

These can include:

  • Character concerns (e.g., criminal convictions)

  • Issues with your education provider
  • Insufficient supporting evidence

 

 How Authorities May Respond

  • They may issue a Request for Further Information (RFI)
